Artist's Description

Back in 2014 I painted about 10 images of flowers. They are painted in acrylic, each painting has about 30 to 40 layers of paint, so the paintings are almost like relief sculptures they are so thick with paint.

Brilliant red tulips with bright green leaves and stems pop out from a heavily textured atmospheric blue background. The painting exudes feeling, emotion and self expression.
