Product Details

Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Artist's Description

This is a bright energetic painting of a red dragon playing with a flaming pearl.
The Legendary Chinese Dragon, probably the most powerful symbol of chinese mythology and chinese folklore. Coming in many styles and forms they are most commonly depicted as snake like with horns and legs, their hands having 3 or 5 claws. Dragons can represent the different energies within man, his spiritual power and his evolutionary potential. But more than that they represent the forces of nature that man interacts with. In yin and yang terminology, a dragon is yang and complements a yin fenghuang.

They can traditinaly symbolize magical powers such as control over the elements. It is also a symbol of power and good luck for worthy people.

In China exceptional people are compared to dragons, while incapable people with lesser creatures creatures such as worms. Hoping that one's son will turn into a dragon is a common wish for Chinese parents.
